Goodluck Jane is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose practice spans painting, drawing, and mixed-media assemblage. She is widely recognized for her powerful use of multiple materials simultaneously cut fabric silhouettes, cut paper, drawing, and painting woven into visually layered narratives that explore identity, memory, heritage, and the human form.
With a foundation in fashion design, Goodluck Jane brings a distinctive material intelligence to her work, allowing fabric to function not only as surface but as language. Her deep engagement with textile traditions, particularly African Ankara fabric, has become central to her artistic voice. Born into a family of painters and drawing artists, her creative path was shaped early by visual storytelling, craftsmanship, and an intimate relationship with materials.
She began working professionally as a visual artist in 2021, quickly gaining recognition for her innovative use of Ankara fabric to tell artistic stories across cultural contexts. Through solo and group exhibitions held locally and internationally, her work positions cloth as a carrier of history, emotion, and social dialogue.
